Standing waves
Sound has a shape — you just need something to settle into it.
Placeholder study — replace with your own.
Input: a sine-wave sweep from 80 Hz to 1 kHz, plus a voice humming along.
Process: a digital Chladni plate. Particles drift toward the still points of a vibrating surface, and the pitch from an Audio Analysis CHOP picks which pattern they settle into. Higher notes give more intricate shapes.
What we noticed: some notes make clean geometry and some never settle — the in-between pitches are the most interesting.
